Bio/PharMOS: Biotech & Pharma Manufacturing Outsource Services at Monte Carlo, 26 to 28 March 2003
After the success of the Bio/PharMOS event in March 2002, attended by 370 participants and 60 exhibitors, the next event is now on track.
Bio/PharMOS 2002 achieved its primary aim to become the leading venue for professionals in pharmaceutical and biotechnology subcontracting manufacturing services in Europe. Once again, by combining a conference with an exhibition, Bio/PharMOS 2003 will help customers to develop relationships with their suppliers as well as hear about and discuss the latest developments in outsourced manufacturing.
At Bio/PharMOS 2002 there were no fewer than 42 presentations to conference delegates, covering strategic aspects, mergers and acquisitions, drivers of demand, as well as the statutory aspects relating to site transfers, and quality issues. At Bio/PharMOS 2003, the emphasis will be on current issues, with speakers from pharmaceutical companies revealing their expectations for manufacturing services and the impact of reorganisations resulting from mergers and acquisition. Quality issues will be debated with official regulators concerned with auditing production sites.
Bio/PharMOS 2003 will explore the dynamics of customer - supplier relationships. Bio/PharMOS is a unique event for biotech and pharma companies to exchange information about the management of product and process development leading to commercial production.
At Bio/PharMOS 2002, biotech companies shared their experience and benefited from the pharmaceutical industry’s expertise, to acquire know-how about the ’industrialisation’ of their discoveries.
