APS Inhalation 2007, 27th & 28th March 2007
Building 3WN, University of Bath, Claverton Down,
Bath, BA2 7AY, U.K.
Following the success of 'APS Inhalation' events in London (2003) and Nice (2005), APS announces that the 3rd biennial meeting will be held at the University of Bath to coincide with celebrating 100 years of pharmacy education in Bath.
The proposed conference theme, "Innovation through Integration," highlights the essential link between science, technology and regulation to facilitate successful product development.
Pharmacy education in the city began at the Bath and West College of chemistry and Pharmacy, founded in 1907 by D.J. Williams and J.W Sampson. The College continued in Bath for 22 years until it moved nearby to Bristol becoming part of the Merchant Venturers' College, then the College of Technology and subsequently the College of Advanced Technology. Finally, a site was found at Claverton Down in Bath to establish the University of Bath and the School of Pharmacy, which received its Royal Charter in 1966.
For the 2007 conference, the scientific programme will involve an eminent panel of invited speakers. Poster and podium presentations are invited (see 'Call for Abstracts').
There is also space for exhibiting.
