Biggest interpack of all time ever to be staged, from 24 to 30 April 2008, interpack 08 will fill the Düsseldorf Trade Fair Center to capacity across 19 halls, benefiting both exhibitors and visitors.
Launched in 1958, interpack celebrates its 50th anniversary with a trade show breaking new records in terms of participation.
Special focus on Bioplastics in Packaging
With current debate on conserving resources and sustainable development, bioplastics are advancing at a rapid rate. "Bioplastics in Packaging" at interpack 08 PROCESSES AND PACKAGING will form the biggest exhibition of its kind in the world. International exhibitors active in sectors including polymers and granulates, additives, finishing, plastics processing and packaging production – including names such as BASF, DuPont Packaging and Nature Works – to ensure bioplastics packaging is covered thoroughly.
Classes featured include: synthetic vs biodegradable materials, renewable primary products, biodegradable materials and materials based on renewable primary products vs non-biodegradable).
