On December 23, 2004 Patheon completed its acquisition of MOVA Pharmaceutical Corporation, a leading U.S. prescription pharmaceutical contract manufacturer located in Puerto Rico, U.S.A. Following the addition of the three MOVA facilities in the US; Patheon now has a network of 14 facilities in the United States, Canada and Europe, employing 5,600 highly skilled employees and serving a client base of over 150 pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.
