Argenta Discovery - dynamic medicinal chemistry
Established in 2000, Argenta began as a joint venture involving a team of scientists from the former Aventis pharmaceutical research centre in East London and ChemMedICa, a spin off from Imperial College of Science, Technology.
Using revenue generated from its main business stream of contract research for clients, including GlaxoSmithKline and Aventis, Argenta Discovery is developing its own intellectual property, consisting of validated, quality, patentable lead series for sale or license as potential pharmaceuticals.
