ARETA INTERNATIONAL, a biotech company founded in Autumn 1999 by Dr. Maria Luisa Nolli, is a spin-off cell biology lab of Lepetit Research Centre, part of the multinational, Dow Chemical.
Participated at Bio/PharMOS-Bio/PharDOS 2006
ARETA is currently staffed by 13 people. The work organisation is flexible, managed thoroughly and focused on projects.
The corporate mission is in contract process development and manufacturing of potential biodrugs for cancer, central nervous system and therapy of rare metabolic diseases.
ARETA is in full compliance of applicable Italian and GMP requirements and is also certified ISO 9001 since the end of 2000.
ARETA will help its customers in defining strategy for project development optimisation and quality in biotech projects .
ARETA is organized in two divisions characterising its portfolio of two services:
ARETA GMP (Therapeutics ):
- contract process development and manufacturing of lots for pre-clinical/clinical studies of cells (cell therapy), antibodies and recombinant proteins (cancer, CNS and rare diseases);
- Set-up of safety / QC tests for batch release
ARETA RESEARCH (R&D and Diagnostics) for production and purification of monoclonal antibodies and recombinant proteins, set up of a range of different ELIS Assays, cell-based tests.
